Cutting Structure and Configuration
The annular crown cuts around the sample and leaves an open center for core entry. Crown channels provide paths for flushing around the cutting face. For a diamond-impregnated crown, the diamond and matrix specification are selected together for the formation.
Applications
Review this family for NTW core-drilling equipment using a compatible bit and barrel. The source-series name does not establish compatibility with every barrel bearing the same designation.
Selection and Customization
Provide the exact barrel series, outside and inside diameters, connection and formation information. Confirm the crown specification and flushing arrangement for the intended drilling conditions.
Confirm the hot-pressed configuration
Identify the barrel and crown as a matched assembly. Supply the bit outside and inside diameters, thread drawing, crown height and flushing arrangement. The catalogue lists conventional and bottom-jet dimensions separately; do not substitute one for the other or transfer a hot-pressed dimension to a PDC model.
