DTH button-bit family
The photographs show button-faced DTH bits with splined shanks. This is a hammer-bit system, distinct from a rotary PDC or tricone bit. The selected head and shank must match the drilling assembly.

Confirm the hammer and shank
Provide the hammer manufacturer and exact model, shank designation or dimensioned drawing, bit diameter and relevant air-system information. A model suffix or a similar-looking spline is not a verified hammer-fit specification. Include retaining and air-passage details needed for the selected assembly.
Compare the face and buttons
The catalogue illustrates convex, flat and concave faces and different cutting-element arrangements. State the proposed face, gauge and face-button layout and ground conditions. Select the working configuration with the hammer and flushing system.
