Overview
The photographed assembly combines a blue pick-cutter drill head with a long helical-profile stabilizer. This complete assembly is different from a loose cutter holder or a standalone pick-cutter head.
Cutting Structure and Configuration
Conical picks break and cut the formation at the head. Behind the cutting head, the helical stabilizer helps center the assembly and limit lateral movement. Cutter type, stabilizer gauge and connection are selected as one assembly.
Applications
Mining and engineering drilling systems that require a pick-cutter head with guidance and borehole support. This is a complete head-and-stabilizer configuration; it is separate from the standalone pick-cutter head.
Selection and Customization
Provide the pilot or finished-hole diameter, stabilizer gauge and length, connection drawing and intended formation. Cutter type and assembly compatibility should be confirmed together; a photograph does not establish a load or pressure rating.
