Overview
This FSDRILL PDC bit combines six cutting wings with a rounded arc-profile face. The photographs show the purple finished configuration from the cutting face and side, including the threaded connection.
Cutting Structure and Configuration
PDC cutters follow the curved wing edges. Spaces between the wings form passages around the cutting structure. The six-wing arrangement provides several contact zones across the bit face; its suitability depends on the formation and the selected cutter layout.
Applications
This configuration can be considered for water-well, mining and geological drilling projects that use a rotary non-coring assembly. Select the diameter, connection and cutter arrangement for the actual borehole rather than by paint color.
Selection and Customization
Share the required finished-hole diameter, drill-string connection, formation description and flushing method with FSDRILL. The cutter arrangement and connection should be selected together with the drilling assembly. Photographs show the illustrated configurations; the final specification is agreed for the project.
