Overview

The four-wing alloy drag bit is shown in blue and green finished configurations. Four stepped blade positions distinguish it from the three-wing alloy scraper series already in the FSDRILL catalog.

Cutting Structure and Configuration

The photographs show the blade arrangement and cutting edges from different angles. Selection of an alloy drag bit should consider the edge configuration, space for cuttings and the required connection.

Applications

This family can be reviewed for water-well and engineering rotary drilling applications suited to a drag-type cutting action. The appropriate formation range and operating settings must be determined for the selected bit.

Selection and Customization

Share the required finished-hole diameter, drill-string connection, formation description and flushing method with FSDRILL. The cutter arrangement and connection should be selected together with the drilling assembly. Photographs show the illustrated configurations; the final specification is agreed for the project.
