Overview

The stepped concave three-wing PDC bit has an offset cutting-face profile visible in the original product photographs. It provides a different configuration from a smooth arc-profile three-wing bit.

Cutting Structure and Configuration

The cutting zones are distributed along the stepped wings and around the recessed center. Face and side photographs help show the step arrangement and body proportions without relying on a generic drill-bit image.

Applications

Review this configuration for rotary water-well, geological or engineering drilling where a stepped non-coring face is being considered. Select the cutter layout and flushing arrangement for the actual formation.

Selection and Customization

Share the required finished-hole diameter, drill-string connection, formation description and flushing method with FSDRILL. The cutter arrangement and connection should be selected together with the drilling assembly. Photographs show the illustrated configurations; the final specification is agreed for the project.
