Overview
The 200/500 source-series hole opener uses a large open-frame arrangement with distributed drag cutting sections. The actual photographs show the assembly rather than a generic reamer illustration.
Cutting Structure and Configuration
Its modular configuration differs from the compact one-piece staged bits. Pilot section, cutting sections and supporting body must be considered together when planning an enlargement pass.
Applications
Discuss this assembly for a custom hole-opening project. Required pilot and final hole dimensions, torque capacity of the drilling system and flushing arrangement determine the specification.
Selection and Customization
Share the required finished-hole diameter, drill-string connection, formation description and flushing method with FSDRILL. The cutter arrangement and connection should be selected together with the drilling assembly. Photographs show the illustrated configurations; the final specification is agreed for the project.
Modular assembly review
Identify the pilot section, outer cutting sections, support arrangement and supplied assembly state. Specify the pilot and finished-hole dimensions, connection, rig torque information and flushing path. The 200/500 series reference does not by itself define an adjustable diameter range.
